Track your weight lifted!
So simple yet often neglected by many new and even intermediate gym goers
A lot of the time a 40kg chest press feels just as heavy as a 45kg chest press and a 45kg as heavy as a 50kg chest press but if you aren't tracking this information and you do what “feels heavy” you aren’t building strength in a predictable and progressive manner and before you know it its been 12 months and you are still lifting 40kgs instead of chasing these small incremental improvements no matter how you “feel”
Most of the time my clients say a warm-up set is heavy without even knowing it’s the warm-up not the working set 😁
That’s why I’m in charge of their sessions not them
Tracking provides clarity and a next step of predictable progress to aim for while ensuring over months and years you are able to go from average to exceptional
This not only working with training but also nutrition and the habits that build your lifestyle
